For a brand that’s less than 50 years old, Stussy has an incredibly vibrant history. Ever changing and evolving, it’s eclectic style has taken influence from a number of spaces over the years, from the Californian surf scene, to Rap and punk scenes, to Japanese streetwear. It’s bold, colourful graphics have resonated with skaters, BMXers, surfers and streetwear lovers, and with different 90s collections being released worldwide in limited numbers, specific pieces from this era are hard to come by. Laid back in style and fit, true to its surfing roots, Stussy pieces are a great casual addition to any streetwear wardrobe.

Stussy’s logo is a graffiti style signature of Founder, Shawn Stussy. It’s double S logo alternative is said to be a playful reimagining of the Chanel logo, Shawn himself wrote on his instagram ‘ I did this logo for myself, taking the piss out of luxury with the spirit from the beach and street... ”. For a period of time, Stussy would create these rip designs that flipped luxury logos as seen here, to make iconic unofficial collab pieces. Of course these items were quickly revoked, making them now incredibly rare holy-grails. Grab yourself a piece of history.
